Ms. Tsai joined TMG Consulting in the Fall of 2009 after developing a public outreach program for a non-profit organization located in central Morocco. She previously worked for Ruder Finn, Inc. where she helped create public relations campaigns for globally-recognized destination islands, airlines, and hotel chains. In addition to working with newspaper editors and TV producers, Ms. Tsai worked closely with New York Times best-selling authors to promote their books on programs such as The Lou Dobbs Show and NPR’s Morning Edition. Ms. Tsai also helped media train her clients for live TV appearances and radio interviews.
While studying at Cornell University, Ms. Tsai helped create a grassroots marketing campaign for the Men’s Varsity Basketball team. She contributed to the development of an in-house data collection software to better understand student preferences and a loyalty club to retain student support for the basketball team. Her academic experiences were supplemented with internships at InterContinental Hotels, Marriott Hotels, ClubCorp, and the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau.
At TMG Consulting, Ms. Tsai is involved with performing economic impact studies for the hospitality and gaming industry. She is also involved with the firm’s business development.
