As a Feasibility Analyst, Mimi Tsai contributes to the performance of feasibility studies for the hospitality and gaming industries. Ms. Tsai's responsibilities also include increasing Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation on federally-funded projects at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, and assisting the Louis Armstrong International Airport with federal and state funds programming.
Before joining TMG, Ms. Tsai worked for the New York City office of Ruder Finn, Inc. where she helped create public relations campaigns for corporations and government agencies including the Jamaica Tourist Board, Air France Airlines, and Embassy Suites. In addition to working with newspaper editors and TV producers, Ms. Tsai worked closely with New York Times best-selling authors to promote their books on nationally-recognized programs. Ms. Tsai also helped media-train her clients for live TV appearances and radio interviews.
While studying at Cornell University, Ms. Tsai helped create a grassroots marketing campaign for the Men's Varsity Basketball team. She contributed to the development of an in-house data collection software to better understand student preferences and a loyalty club to retain student support for the basketball team. Her academic experiences were supplemented with internships at InterContinental Hotels, Marriott Hotels, ClubCorp, and the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Ms. Tsai is an active member of the Young Leadership Council of New Orleans, the Urban Land Institute, and the Benjamin Franklin High School Alumni Association, and assists in TMG Consulting's business development.
